ABOUT US
Medical Analysis Resources, Inc., is a legal nurse-consulting firm, which offers the legal profession assistance in the difficult medical issues of litigation in areas such as medical malpractice, serious personal injury, insurance defense, criminal law and health care law (Medicare Fraud).
Our teams of experts investigate, review and analysis medical records for merit, compliance and the detection of fraud. Medical record summaries, chronologies, abstracts, time lines and final reports are prepared on a case per case basis. We easily identify and consult with the appropriate medical, nursing and health care experts including coding and billing experts. Our consultants perform medical literature research, determine the validity of the research and integrate the most salient research into the case. We easily handle micro-management of large volume cases where there are hundreds of medical records and literally thousands of medical bills. The firm has worked closely with special investigative fraud units to detect fraudulent billing practices of health care providers or insured health claims in PIP auto insurance claims.
We contract with law firms, accounting firms and the federal government to assist in the performance of health care audits. We have experience in active involvement in on and off-site financial testing of medical records for due diligence, billing accuracy and compliance with government and intermediary payer regulations.
